Card size: 24 x 33 cm; 9 1/2 x 13 inches
Executed in 1965 in three editions of ten examples each.
The title is a double play on words, rhyming with papier de verre (sandpaper) and etolie de mer (starfish) the latter being the title of Man Ray's third film made in 1928 and a nod to the maritime subject matter of this landscape.
